Original Sketch of “Gray Rainbow” Mural
‍This is the original concept sketch for the mural titled Gray Rainbow, created for Grandpa’s multi-country exhibition Gray Rainbow, which was simultaneously held in Latvia, Germany, Poland, Estonia, and France. Trailer here. The sketch was never finished.
In April 2021, the mural was transformed into a 3D animated NFT and acquired by the contemporary art museum ZUZEUM as part of the KIWIE 1001 project. The NFT now belongs to the museum’s permanent digital collection. Read more here. The physical mural still stands at Alauksta Street 13, Riga, Latvia.

On the front of the sketch, you’ll find Grandpa’s original signature and date. On the reverse, a unique, numbered holographic sticker guarantees the artwork’s authenticity. Each piece comes with a signed, laminated Certificate of Authenticity, detailing the title, dimensions, serial number, and Grandpa’s autograph.Every sketch is a true one-of-a-kind original never to be reproduced or reissued.And because he believes in youthful maximalism, 50% of all proceeds go directly to the KIWIE FNDN, helping support the next generation of young artists.[Learn more about the Foundation here.]
