🏆The first KIWIE FNDN 1000 EUR grant has been awarded.
A while ago grandpa started KIWIE FNDN to support young artists and creative talents under 18.
For the first Spring session, we received 20 applications from young creatives with different skills, ideas and dreams. After reviewing all submissions, grandpa selected his first recipient - a 14 year old artist Estere Briede, who will receive a 1000 EUR [after taxes] grant to support her creative journey.
Art has always been a big part of her life. Growing up in a creative family, she has explored drawing, digital art, photography, miniature making and street art. Her application stood out because of her curiosity, dedication and genuine passion for creating.
When asked why she loves art, she wrote: “Because I can’t live without creating art. It’s my way of expressing myself, having fun, dealing with my emotions and trying new exciting stuff.”
The grant will be used to purchase a new phone for school, digital art and photography, with the remaining funds going towards art supplies.
Congratulations to our first KIWIE FNDN recipient. We can’t wait to see what she creates next.❤️🔥
